“Eckington Parish Council is a government organisation. Our Parish has over 11,000 residents. We have a variety of Community Halls within the Parish that serve the local community.”
‘In 2024, the old Youth Club with land was purchased by Eckington Parish Council to be developed into a play area. The play areas are important for children and families as they provide a space for the mental and physical development, as well as used for socialising.’ – EPC
Since the Eckington Civic Centre was renovated in 2019, Eckington Parish Council has been an ongoing customer of Till Point.
Our till systems have been placed in the Civic Centre, Renishaw Community Hall, and the recently opened Bluebell Café in Stead Street Park, among other Community Halls within the Parish.
Since we already had systems in place in other areas of the Parish, the council approached us once more when they required a till system for the recently constructed Bluebell Café in Stead Street Park.
To verify that the EPoS system could be installed in the proper location as desired by the Parish council, our team conducted site visits to assist with the café’s wiring and networking team as it got underway.
For a user-friendly experience, our team then programmed the café specification onto the newest software. Like the locals, our team excitedly anticipated the new café’s opening date. Once we had
been given the opening date, our team arrived to install the equipment as requested by the Parish council.
As so many residents attended the park’s grand opening, we were on hand to assist in making sure everything went smoothly with the new EPoS installation on the day of the event.
We are pleased to provide the Parish council with EPoS terminals at each of its locations. We wish them all the best with the opening of the new park and café!
